Covid-19 Protocols
In response to the rise of Covid-19
- We have a Covid- 19 Protocol and Informed Consent document( found in our client portal on our Client Portal and FAQs Page) that we are asking all clients to sign before the onset of care.
- We screen all clients and their families for Covid-19 symptoms prior to each home visit
- We ask that if you or your family have any covid-19 symptoms at the time during the course of care, that you let me know.
Safety Guidelines for the Midwife during Home Visits
If I become sick I will switch out appointment to virtual, and reschedule our in-person visit
I will only provide services if I display no symptoms of COVID-19 or illnesses
I will take my temperature if I begin to have fever like symptoms
I will follow the CDC guidelines on hand washing or using hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content
I will remove shoes upon entry to your home
I will disinfect my equipment before and after every use.
Safety Guidelines for the Client during Home Visits
Clients should refrain from booking a visit if they or a member of their household has COVID-19 symptoms
Clients should refrain from booking a visit if they or any member of their household is under an isolation or quarantine order/directive.
Clients should wash their hands thoroughly, prior to and after each home visit.
Clients should share any special sanitation or hygiene requests prior to arrival.
